MUBOMA Museo de Bomberos (Firemen)

Housed in a century-old building that was ironically destroyed by fire during the 1980 ’s the firefighter’s museum in Alcoy is a fine example of a derelict industrial building that has been given new life as a cultural site.

Built-in ashlar stone next to the river Serpis the museum has a collection of trucks, uniforms and firefighting equipment that together with interactive displays guide you through the history of this citizen service in Spain.
