The San Jorge Association of Alcoy is in charge of the museum that celebrates the city’s biggest fiesta. In the museum, you will find manikins dressed in elaborately ornate costumes that replicate those worn by the Christian and Arab combatants.
There is also a cinema where you can witness the events of the festival on a big screen while listening to music specially composed for the event.
If you cannot make it to Alcoy in April for the big event this is the next best thing and will leave a lasting impression of the history of Alcoy and its people.
The museum is closed during national holidays and only open certain times of day during the summer.
