COVID-19 records 804.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in L’Alcoià and El Comtat

PCR and antigen tests have diagnosed 361 positives for SARS-CoV-2 in recent days, and in the Virgen de los Lirios hospital, there have been 13 new admissions, six of which are in the ICU.

Three hundred sixty-one people have been infected with the coronavirus in recent days in L’Alcoià and El Comtat, and the accumulated incidence skyrockets to 804.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, according to Sanitat.

This Tuesday, in the new data update, the Ministry communicates that PCR tests or antigen tests have diagnosed 172 new cases of COVID-19 in Alcoy, 70 in Ibi, 34 in Muro, 29 in Cocentaina, 18 in Castalla, 14 in Banyeres, and 12 in Onil.

In addition, in L’Orxa and Benilloba, they register three infections; in Planes, two neighbors are suffering from this disease, and in Alcosser, l’Alqueria d’Asnar, Benasau, and Beniarrés, they add one more case, according to the statistics.

In sum, the Alcoy Health Department has recorded 17,409 positives since March 2020, and 427 people have lived their lives due to this virus.
