According to the official data of the Conselleria de Sanitat, the Mare de Déu dels Lliris Hospital in Alcoy has reported two more deaths related to COCID-19. According to the Ministry of Health, this brings the total number of deaths in the city to 236 since March 2020.
In addition, there have been 178 new infections in Alcoy in the last three days, making a total of 7,713 since the start of the pandemic. These figures have caused the cumulative incidence to rise to 867 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.
In Cocentaina, there have been 32 cases after the last update, and there is a total of 1,161. The incidence has also grown to 590 positives per 100,000 inhabitants in the previous 14 days.
The population of Muro has suffered a new increase in the cumulative incidence to 665 cases per 100,000. The town has registered 21 more positives since last Tuesday.
The incidence figures in these three populations are above the Very High Risk marked by the covid traffic light of the Ministry of Health.
