La Font Roja registers a nocturnal earthquake

During the night of Monday, November 15, an earthquake measuring 1.5 degrees on the Richter scale occurred in the Carrascal de la Font Roja Natural Park. The earthquake’s epicenter was at the point marked by the star in the image.
The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has reported that the earthquake’s depth was at three kilometers. Despite the relative shallowness of the epicenter, the low magnitude of the quake made it practically unnoticed anywhere in the city of Alcoy.
