Etruscans the dawn of Rome

If you are looking for something to do over the weekend or a day trip down to the coast, why not visit the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ). Until December 12, 2021, the museum is hosting an exhibition it calls ” Etruscans the dawn of Rome.” The museum’s three exhibition rooms will house 150 objects from some of the most important archeological digs in ancient Etruria (present-day Tuscany).

Etruscans, the dawn of Rome is an excellent opportunity to get closer to the Europe of Etruscans, Greeks, Phoenicians, Iberians, and Romans. The exhibition describes the history of this fascinating society and its evolution, from the 9th century BC until the dawn of the Roman Empire, in the 1st century.
