The Valencian Government and the Alcoy City Council have signed the agreement to build an Interior Tourism Center (CdTi) in the Rodes block. The Autonomous Government will allocate a total of 2.2 million euros for the project.
The agreement was signed by the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and the mayor of Alcoy, Antonio Francés. At the signing, Colomer highlighted a tourism model that focuses on “innovation, intelligence, and research.”
For his part, Francés said that the CdTi is “part of a project that seeks to generate wealth, attract talent and create companies” and that the CdTi will be just one section in the Rodes Technology Park.
This new step in creating the Interior Tourism Center will not complete the project until 2023. At that time, they intend to make it a reality embedded in the transformation of the former Rodes Brothers factory.
