With Phase 2 of de-escalation, the markets also return to non-sedentary sales, but with a reduction in capacity and new specific rules to guarantee health safety measures for customers.
All the markets will be able to set up their stalls on the days they used to do so and during regular opening hours. They all maintain their original location except for Sant Roc, which has to be moved to Plaza Enric Valor, in the Uixola, to adapt to the health measures.
As for the stalls that are allowed to be set up, the one in the Zona Nord will have 14 stalls, the one in Sant Roc 5, and the one in Batoi 26. In this new phase, the restriction that only food stalls were allowed has been removed.
As regards hygiene measures, it will be compulsory to wear a mask and disinfect hands with hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance, which will be provided by the Town Hall. Also, the capacity will be reduced to 50% in every one of them.
The Councillor for Trade, Vanessa Moltó, explained that “with the entry into phase 2 of the de-climbing, we recover the markets of Zona Nord and Sant Roc, and extend the Batoi, with 50% of the authorizations. We ask everyone to be careful to respect necessary sanitary measures such as the mask, the controlled capacity, and hand disinfection. As a novelty, the Sant Roc market will be located in the Enric Valor square, to comply with the distance between the different stalls.”
