Following the Spanish government’s decision to allow people to go out for walks and partake in individual sports, Scott Alcoy is offering the public the opportunity to experience road or mountain bikes for as little as 35€ per month.
The new measure to ease lockdown restrictions announced by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez yesterday comes into effect starting Saturday, May 2.
With top name bicycles like Scott costing hundreds of euros, Alcoyanos can now test out the bikes before committing to buy one while at the same time getting some exercise and enjoying the fresh air.
Over the past couple of years, the city government of Alcoy has built unique bike paths thought out the city that connects every neighborhood. What this now means is you can go anywhere in Alcoy without having to combat vehicles while cycling on the road.
Scott is also committed to promoting dedicated cycle routes within the interior of Alicante, such as the Via Verde built on the old railway line that used to connect Alcoy with the coastal city of Gandia.
