Alcoy municipal swimming pools to open on Friday
Alcoy will open the city’s three municipal swimming pools this Friday for the summer season from June 14th to September 8th.
Acting councillor for sports Alberto Belda announced that safety measures in both the Ensanche pool and Zona Norte pool had been improved by the installation of personal lockers that will be monitored by video surveillance.
Last year the city of Alcoy spent 130,000€ on its public swimming pools to make sure they are clean, comfortable and safe for bathers.
The hours of the pools will be from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets can now be purchased at the Center d’Esports office, Av. Juan Gil-Albert, 6 (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
