A helicopter takes biker to hospital after crash near Benilloba
The Guardia Civil had to temporarily close the CV-70 Alcoy to Benilloba road on Sunday after a motorcyclist crashed at kilometre 6 near the intersection for Cocentaina.
A helicopter was dispatched to the scene and transferred the injured man to the Virgen de los Lirios Hospital in Alcoy.
The rider who had been on a day out with friends has suffered fractures but is said to be in a stable condition.
