One person has been found drowned and 44 are missing presumed dead after a migrant boat sank while trying to cross from Morocco to Spain.
According to 22 people were rescued from the sinking vessel yet 44 are unaccounted for.
Charity founder Helen Maleno explained she had received a call from the boat on Wednesday claiming it was sinking.
Ms Maleno said: “Their relatives fear the worst if countries do not work together enough to rescue them.”
