Zona Norte football pitch to get new artificial turf

The Governing Board has approved the tender to improve the sports field of the Juan Agudo Garat sports ground in Zona Norte.

The plan is to change the surface of the artificial turf with another material more suitable for the sports that are practised. The economic total that is thought to be allocated is 70,000 euros and companies can now submit their offers. The work will be carried during the summer so as not to interfere with the football season.

Sports councillor, Alberto Belda, stressed that “it is a proposal voted by the alcoyanos, which shows the interest of the users to improve this field”.

Changing the artificial turf at the Juan Agudo Garat sports ground received the most citizen votes in the 2018 participatory budgets.
