Alcoy resident turns 100
Surrounded by her family and friends Fina Beneyto celebrated her 100th birthday by blowing the candles out on a cake.
Born in Villena in 1919, Fina moved to Alcoy with her family as a young child and has lived here ever since.
Still up to date on issues of the day Fina has wonderful memories stretching back before the Civil War, a subject she did not want to talk about. She did, however, give her opinion on violence towards woman asking politicians to take a tougher hand.
