Spanish Royals to visit Morocco in February

King Felipe and Queen Letizia are set to make an official state visit to Morocco in February according to Spanish government sources.

The pair plan to visit Casablanca and the Moroccan capital of Rabat during their two-day visit which officials say is still in the planning.

The royal couple were supposed to visit Morocco sooner but the trip was postponed due to the situation in Cataluña and the regions push for independence.

While on the visit the King will also take part in talks with Moroccan officials together with Spanish government ministers including Foreign Minister Josep Borrell.
