Spain targets 100% renewable electricity
Spain has laid out an ambitious plan to make the country run on 100% renewable electricity by 2050.

This comes on the heel of a recently scrapped solar initiative tax that made it appealing for consumers to add solar panels to their homes.
Spain is also looking to a complete decarbonisation of the country and eliminating greenhouse gases by 2050.
On top of these new proposals is the banning of the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040.
