VIDEO: Flash flooding kills nine in Mallorca
Nine people are dead and several missing following freak weather on the Spanish islands of Mallorca that turned streets into rivers.
The Spanish Metrological Office warned of heavy rain for southern Spain and the Balearics for Tuesday, but no one expected it to be as bad as it was.
It is now one of the most serious floods in Spain for the past 25 years after more than 8 inches of rain fell on Sant Llorenc area of this island in just two hours.
