Burger King plans to open 250 new restaurants in Spain

American fast food giant Burger King has announced plans to open 250 new restaurants in Spain.

When Burger King boss Jose Cil visited a Barcelona this week he announced his intent to significantly add to the 750 outlets already in Spain.

Burger King is the second largest fast food chain in the world after Mc Donalds  with 17,000 restaurants in 100 countries.

Despite having 60 per cent more restaurants in Spain than in 2010,  Cuban descendant Cil plans to aggressively open Burger Kings in high traffic areas such as airports, railway stations and service areas.
