The City Council of Alcoy continues to renew its fleet of municipal vehicles. The latest acquisition is two electric cars to replace those of the Works and Services department that are used to inspect improvements and maintenance carried out around the city.
Each one has an approximate cost of 14,000 euros, of which the IVACE has contributed 6,000 euros. According to the person in charge for Mobility and the Environment, Jordi Martínez, the institute has also granted aid for another car and for the pilot implementation of bus stops at Font Dolça, San Juan de Ribera Street and the new courthouse. The next vehicle will be for the Department of the Environment and will arrive in two weeks’ time.
