Citizens demand a solution for derelict homes in Algezares

Concerned citizens have raised concerns that derelict buildings in the area known as Algezares are in imminent danger of collapsing.

Councilman, Jorge Sedano, has once again warned of the danger the derelict buildings pose to the public, expressing outrage over the way a local government team is handling the problem.

People living in the area near to the Firemen’s Museum have called for the immediate destruction of the buildings citing heavy rain earlier in the year as destabilizing them even more.

Sedano recalled that the situation was brought before the town council in April of 2017 and that enough time had now passed for the demolition to have been completed.
